If you find yourself just past the border of Queensland and NSW there is beautiful place by the beach called Salt Village near Kingscliff. On the 3rd Saturday of every month you can find the Salt Village Markets. Set up in the central park there is an array of local designers selling their hand made clothing, shoes, jewellery and wares. Food vendors, coffee and a stage with live music as well as jumping castles and kids’ activities makes for a great family day out.
